Rust, twins AND green. What a lovely image to start my day off. Once I clear last night's fuzziness from my head I'm off to take pictures of the damage the rain did the other day. And I loved the fens pictures, those were so moody, so melancholy.
Rust - I'm guilty of playing to the audience again.
I used to play out around these lakes when I was a kid. There aren't many left now that haven't been developed and beset with holiday homes for our poor unfortunate city dwellers.
In recent years I've strayed away from taking landscapes so it's a change to make the odd image that needs a wide-angle lens. I also prefer to take landscape photographs in portrait format (perverse, I know) so the lake image is doubly unusual for me.
Blogger was down when I wrote the previous comment last night so I didn't have easy access to the original post. I now see that I used portrait format, not landscape after all. Just shows how ingrained that mode of shooting is in my head. Sixty is only a few years away and the brain cells are in full flight!
