So one last gasp; two men, three boats, mud, the Exe Estuary, in glorious, sun-kissed monochrome.
I thank you.

Grand.
I like the story that comes with two men, three boats, and an estuary. You and Peter make me want to write.
Oh, no, no, no.
I thank YOU.
Perfect. I wish I could see a bigger version, it gets lost on the huge screens here :) I could most certainly pull up a chair and sit in front of a whopping 8' x 6', and yeah, those are feet ;)
Thanks, Peter
Waiting for the results now then, Pauline
Accepted, Josephine, it's a pleasure
Thanks, Lever. I'll happily send you the original full-size file and you can do with it what you wish. Email me at dave (at) canbush.com
I did art lessons in primary school, one of the pictures I was given to copy was one of three fishing boats, for some reason this reminded me of it.
Your photo is beautifull!
It's funny how some scenes can trigger sensory experiences, the minute I saw this photo, I could smell the mudflats. Not a bad smell, but a vivid one! Sometimes I find aromas triggering memories of a particular place as well. Very cool!
Thanks, Hannelie, much appreciated.
Gargoyle, smell is a wonderful sense, isn't it? A bit underrated sometimes.
